WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL

KGANYA WEBSITE

His Grace the Right Reverend Bishop Dr BE Lekganyane started Kganya in 1990, to protect his congregation against tough financial times when a family member passes away. His Grace the Bishop wants every member to be treated fairly, equally and professionally at all times. Over the 30 years of its existence, under the direction of His Grace the Bishop, Kganya has introduced other products which benefit members of the Church such as Personal Accident and Dread Disease cover, additional Burial and Personal Accident Benefits for Committee and Youth Committee Members as well a Sedi la Kganya and Kganya Koloi which provide short term insurance cover for the home and motor vehicle, respectively.

Kganya helps to uplift the ZCC community. Kganya uses some of your monthly Pukwana ya Kganya Contribution for the following:

  • Basic Skills Training – This training is offered to selected members of Kganya at no charge. These include skills like baking, sewing, building, welding and plumbing. So far over 10,000 members have benefitted from this project.

  • Winter Enrichment School for Learners – This school is for grade 11 & 12 learners during the winter holidays. You need to apply for this benefit and it is offered on a first-come-first-served basis.

  • Clinic at Moria – This is the only clinic in the area and helps people from Moria and Boyne areas. 6,000 people use the clinic every month. An AIDS Outreach programme also runs from here and feeds people.

  • Business Centre at Moria – Church members can do ATM banking when they attend Moria. All admin problems or questions can be addressed 24-hours a day at the Business Centre, during Conference times and when members are visiting Moria.

You can gain access to the Benefits offered by Kganya (Pukwana ya Kganya, Sedi la Kganya and Kganya Koloi) by registering at your local Church. You can also pay your monthly Contributions and Premiums there. Kganya is available at 1438 ZCC Church branches in South Africa and neighbouring countries.

You’re provided with an excellent service for a fair price per month:

R110.00:               Pukwana ya Kganya, which includes your contribution to the ZCC.
R95.00:                 Sedi la Kganya
R320.00:               Kganya Koloi

You receive cover for Burial, Personal Accident and Dread Disease. On average, Kganya pays 95% of members’ claims through their 17 service centres and through select Sanlam Client Care Offices located throughout South Africa.

Your journey to Moria is made safer with free benefits like roadside assistance and tow in services.

For only R5 per year, you are able to get 50% discount on your bus tickets to Moria and back AND 1 free meal at each of the conferences in Easter, September and December, first come-first served.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR MEMBERS OF
THE KGANYA BENEFITS FUND TRUST

It is important that you pay your Membership Contributions every month. Non-payment interrupts your payment history and may impact your eligibility for benefits including insurance benefits. Should you miss a payment, Kganya will send you an SMS to inform you of this. If you change your cell phone number without advising Kganya you will not receive this advice. Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that you inform Kganya as soon as possible when your number changes. You can do this by contacting the Kganya Call Centre helpline on 0800 000 538 or by completing an AMPP Form which can be obtained from one of the Committee Members at your Church Branch.
