All information sharing and exchanges will be conducted solely for the purposes of facilitating your claim and to aid in KIA’s compliance with applicable legislation. • Disclosing, transferring, or exchanging the personal information you provide with SDM to allow the screening of such information against international sanction lists for risk assessment purposes. All information sharing and exchanges will be conducted to aid in KIA’s and SDM’s compliance with the Financial Intelligence Centre Amendment Act, No.1 of 2017 and related legislation. Such legislation broadly serves to combat financial crimes including terrorist financing, money laundering, tax evasion and bribery. • Disclosing, transferring, obtaining, or exchanging your personal information and special personal information with relevant medical professionals, hospitals, clinics or any other source of medical information for the sole purpose of obtaining information which KIA deems necessary in order to facilitate your claim. • Consenting to KIA using your personal information to take any actions necessary to trace you or your beneficiaries for the purposes of processing any unclaimed benefits and to make such information accessible to the relevant tracing agents. • Authorising KIA to supplement the information provided with information received from other companies in the Kganya Group as well as other service providers associated with Kganya, in order to provide you with more efficient services. • Authorizing KIA to contact you on the cell phone number provided in matters that relate to this claim together with your commitment to always keeping this number current. • Consenting to KIA taking your photograph and fingerprints and using such information to prevent any fraudulent or misrepresented claims. By submitting any personal information to KIA (including photographs and fingerprints) you agree that we may use such information as set out in our privacy statement and this declaration. • Acknowledging that KIA respects the privacy of all of its customers and is committed to maintaining their privacy.
