7 9.1.6 A summary of the Enhanced Benefits is included below, however this must at all times be considered with the Master Regulations, the Enhanced Benefits Regulations and the terms and conditions of the Thari ya Baruti Pukwana ya Kganya Contract. 9.2 Summary of the Enhanced Benefits (excluding the Enhanced Ancillary Benefits) 9.2.1 The Trust has procured access for you as a Member to the Thari ya Baruti Pukwana ya Kganya Contract for the provision of the following valuable insurance benefits : 9.2.1.1 Insurance cover and funeral (burial) benefits (including Additional Funeral Benefits) in terms of a Thari ya Baruti Funeral Policy; and 9.2.1.2 Insurance cover, dread disease and personal accident benefits (including Additional Personal Accident Benefits) in terms of a Thari ya Baruti Dread Disease and Personal Accident Policy. 9.2.2 You are the policyholder entitled to all rights in terms of the Thari ya Baruti Pukwana ya Kganya Contract, which consists of a Thari ya Baruti Funeral Policy and a Thari ya Baruti Dread Disease and Personal Accident Policy, being two separate policies included in a single contract, namely the Thari ya Baruti Pukwana ya Kganya Contract. 9.2.3 A summary of the most important terms and conditions applicable to the Thari ya Baruti Funeral Policy and the Thari ya Baruti Dread Disease and Personal Accident Policy included in the Thari ya Baruti Pukwana ya Kganya Contract are attached as Annexe D . 9.2.4 Since the Trust has procured access to the Thari ya Baruti Pukwana ya Kganya Contract for all Members who are Church Officials as part of the Enhanced Benefits, a copy of the Thari ya Baruti Pukwana ya Kganya Contract is included in this Membership Terms and Conditions Booklet as Annexe E for the sake of convenience. 9.2.5 Changes to any terms and conditions as set out in the Thari ya Baruti Pukwana ya Kganya Contract will be made available to you. 9.2.6 The Trust shall be responsible for payment of the Monthly Premiums and Additional Premiums due in terms of the Thari ya Baruti Pukwana ya Kganya Contract for all Members who have paid their Monthly Membership Contributions. If you do not pay your Monthly Membership Contribution to the Trust, the Trust shall not pay the Premiums and/or the Additional Premiums due in terms of the Thari ya Baruti Pukwana ya Kganya Contract to the Insurer and you may lose your insurance benefits. 9.3 Summary of the Enhanced Ancillary Benefits The Trust has procured access for you as a Church Official who is a Member to the following Enhanced Ancillary Benefits, a summary of which is set out below. 9.3.1 Roadside Assistance Benefits 9.3.1.1 Service Description o To assist you, the Trust has negotiated Roadside Assistance Benefits (as defined in the Enhanced Benefits Regulations) with a service provider appointed by the Trust. o Roadside Assistance Benefits are therefore not provided by the Trust but by a service provider agreed with by the Trust, in terms of an agreement with you. o Roadside Assistance Benefits will be available to you for your journeys in a motor vehicle that does not weigh more than 3 500kg, to religious celebrations held at Zion City Moria during Easter, September and December of each year. o You will have access to the following services in the event of a roadside emergency with respect to your motor vehicle when journeying to and from religious events: • Flat battery – jump start. • Flat tyre (help with change of tyre). • Keys locked in vehicle (unlocking only). • Fuel assistance (limited to five litres per incident). • Minor roadside repairs (electrical, coil, immobilizer etc.). • Transmission of urgent messages. o You will also have access to the following tow-in service to the nearest approved dealership (if under warranty), repair centre or panel beater with respect to your motor vehicle in the event of: • Mechanical breakdown; • Electrical breakdown; • Accident damage. 9.3.1.2 Qualifying for Roadside Assistance Benefits o To qualify for Roadside Assistance Benefits, you must be in Good Standing by having paid a Membership Contribution: • in the Month preceding the Month in which Roadside Assistance is required; or • in the Month in which the Roadside Assistance is required, provided the Membership Contribution was paid prior to the date of the claim for Roadside Assistance Benefits. 9.3.1.3 Roadside Assistance Exclusions and Limitations o You may only ask for Roadside Assistance Benefits for the period 7 days before, during and 7 days after each conference held at Zion City Moria during Easter, September and December each year. o The Roadside Assistance Benefits are only provided in respect of a motor vehicle that does not weigh more than 3 500kg. o The value of the Roadside Assistance Benefits is limited per incident as set out in the Enhanced Benefits Regulations. o Any costs over and above the limits relating to the provision of Roadside Assistance will be for your cost. 9.3.1.4 Service Requests o You must contact the KIA helpline on 0800 000 538 where an operator will determine whether you qualify for Roadside Assistance Benefits. o The operator will assist you further.
