5 5. Policy documents 5.1 For the sake of convenience, this Thari ya Baruti Pukwana ya Kganya Contract and the Policy Schedule will be contained in the Membership Terms and Conditions Booklet, despite it constituting a separate agreement between the Member in his capacity as a Policyholder and the Insurer. 5.2 All notices and disclosures to be distributed by the Insurer in terms of the Applicable Laws shall be supplied by the Insurer or its duly appointed administrator, Kganya Insurance Administrators, to the Policyholder through the Church Branches affiliated with the ZCC, or such other means of communication as may be appropriate in the circumstances. 6. Definitions and interpretatio n 12 6.1 The following words and expressions used in this Thari ya Baruti Pukwana ya Kganya Contract will have the meaning set out in this clause 6 of Part I: 6.1.1 " Accident " means an unforeseen external, violent and visible event, which occurs independently of other causes, which accident is not reasonably expected, or designed; 6.1.2 " Accidental Death " means death caused directly by, or arising from, or caused solely, by an Accident independently of other causes; 6.1.3 " Additional Premiums " means, collectively the Additional Thari ya Baruti Funeral Premium and the Additional Thari ya Baruti Dread Disease and Personal Accident Premium; 6.1.4 " Additional Funeral Benefits " means an amount equal to 50% of the Funeral Benefits payable in terms of the Thari ya Baruti Funeral Policy upon the 12 Amended with effect from 1 April 2024.
