18 6.1.40.3 in terms of the Thari ya Baruti Basic Needs Benefit Policy - 30 6.1.40.3.1 the death of the Policyholder or Dependent Child as Assured Lives ; 31 or 6.1.40.3.2 the Permanent Disability of the Policyholder or Dependent Child as Assured Lives ; 32 or 6.1.40.3.3 the contraction, experience or suffering of a Dread Disease by the Policyholder as Assured Life; 6.1.41 " Insurer " means Sanlam Developing Markets Limited (registration number: 1911/003818/06), a public company incorporated and registered in terms of the laws of the Republic of South Africa and a licenced insurer in terms of the Insurance Act, with its main place of business situated at 9 – 13 West Street, Houghton, 2196; 6.1.42 " Kganya Insurance Administrators " means Kganya Insurance Administrators (RF) Proprietary Limited (registration number: 1995/007875/07), a private company duly incorporated in terms of the laws of South Africa, duly licensed as a financial services provider in terms of 30 Amended with effect from 1 April 2023. 31 Amended with effect from 1 April 2024. 32 Amended with effect from 1 April 2024.
