4 4. AMENDMENTS TO THE THARI YA BARUTI PUKWANA YA KGANYA INSURANCE CONTRACT • With effect from 1 January 2026, the following definitions as contained in the Thari ya Baruti Pukwana ya Kganya Contract will be amended to make provision for the fact that these may be amended from time to time and/or have been amended: “Additional Premiums”; “AMPP Form”; “Enhanced Benefits Regulations”; “Master Regulations”; “Membership Contribution”; “MPP Form”; “Premiums”; “Thari ya Baruti Basic Needs Benefits Policy”; “Thari ya Baruti Dread Disease and Personal Accident Policy”; “Thari ya Baruti Funeral Policy”. • The inception date of cover in terms of the Thari ya Baruti Pukwana ya Kganya Insurance Contract will be amended with effect from 1 January 2026, to be the later of (i) completion of the MPP Form and purchasing a Membership Book; or (ii) paying the initial Membership Contribution to the Trust; or (iii) successfully passing the FICA checks and being notified by Sanlam thereof. • You may amend information contained in the MPP Form, but such newly amended information will also have to successfully pass the FICA checks. • If you do not successfully pass the FICA checks, SDM has the right to terminate the Thari ya Baruti Pukwana ya Kganya Contract and cover in terms thereof, which will entitle the Trust to simultaneously terminate your Membership in accordance with the amended Master Regulations, Payment Receipt Booklet and the Thari ya Baruti Membership Terms and Conditions Booklet. 5.
