13 terms of the Dread Disease and Personal Accident Policy; and/or iii) a claim for a Dread Disease Benefit is approved in terms of the Dread Disease and Personal Accident Policy.” 5.7.3.13 clause 5.2 is amended to read as follows: “5.2 However, for the avoidance of doubt it is recorded that a claim for Basic Needs Benefit will only be approved in the event that i) a claim for Funeral Benefits is approved in terms of the Funeral Policy; and/or ii) a claim for a Personal Accident Benefit to the value of the highest Claim value under the Dread Disease and Personal Accident Policy, is approved in terms of the Dread Disease and Personal Accident Policy; and/or iii) a claim for a Dread Disease Benefit is approved in terms of the Dread Disease and Personal Accident Policy.” 5.7.3.14 clause 5.4.2.2 is amended to read as follows: “5.4.2.2 Vouchers are not redeemable for cash but may be transferred to another person if so elected by the Policyholder or Beneficiary in instances as contemplated in clause 6.1 and clause 6.2 of this Part V.” 5.7.3.15 clause 7.1.2.1 and 7.1.2.3 is amended to include the words “or Dependent Children” after the word “Policyholder”. 5.7.3.16 The Basic Needs Benefits as set out in Annexe E.6 are increased with effect from 1 April 2024 as follows:
