11 5.7.3.5 clause 2.2 is amended as follows: “2.2 The Basic Needs Benefit is payable in the form of monthly Vouchers payable for a period of 6 (six) consecutive months, which can be used at selected retailers as set out in the Annexe E.6 , as amended from time to time, to care for the basic needs of the Beneficiary upon the happening of an Insured Event in respect of the Policyholder and Dependent Children.” 5.7.3.6 clause 2.4.1 is amended through the inclusion of a new clause 2.4.1.1A to read “ the death of a Dependent Child ”; 5.7.3.7 clause 2.4.1.1 is amended to read “the Permanent Disability of the Policyholder or Dependent Child; or 5.7.3.8 clause 2.5.1.1 is amended to read as follows: “2.5.1.1 a claim for a Funeral Benefit is approved in terms of the Funeral Policy in the event of the death of the Policyholder or a Dependent Child, subject to all the terms and conditions of the Funeral Policy as it applies to the Policyholder or a Dependent Child as Assured Lives (including without limitation, the Waiting Periods, exclusions and limitations as set out in the Funeral Policy); and/or” 5.7.3.9 clause 2.5.1.2 is amended to read as follows: “2.5.1.2 a claim for a Personal Accident Benefit being the highest Claim value under the Dread Disease and Personal Accident Policy, is approved in terms of the Dread Disease and Personal Accident Policy in the event of the Permanent Disability of the Policyholder or a
