10 5.7.3.1 the definition of Assured Lives in clause 6.1.5.3 of Part I is amended to read as follows: “6.1.5.3 for purposes of the Basic Needs Benefit Policy, the Policyholder and all Dependent Children who are indicated in the Payment Receipt Booklet;” 5.7.3.2 the definition of Basic Needs Benefit in clause 6.1.7A is amended as follows: “6.1.7A Basic Needs Benefit” means basic needs benefit payable in terms of the Basic Needs Benefit Policy upon any of the events occurring after the Basic Needs Policy Effective Date, namely i) the Policyholder or a Dependent Child’s death, or ii) the Policyholder contracting, experiencing or suffering a Dread Disease; or iii) the Policyholder or a Dependent Child becoming Permanently Disabled, as set out in Annexe E ;” 5.7.3.3 a new clause 6.1.8.4.1A is inserted to read as follows: “6.1.8.4.1 A Policyholder upon the death or Permanent Disability of a Dependent Child;” 5.7.3.4 the definition of Insured Event in clause 6.1.37 of Part I is amended at clause 6.1.37.3.1 and 6.1.37.2 to read as follows: “6.1.37.3.1 the death of the Policyholder or Dependent Child as Assured Lives; or “6.1.37.3.2 the Permanent Disability of the Policyholder or Dependent Child as Assured Lives; or”
