2 • It must be noted that this document is only a summary of the amendments made to the following documents: - Your Membership Terms and Conditions Booklet; - Your Payment Receipt Booklet; - Your Pukwana ya Kganya Contract; - The Master Regulations; and - The Basic Regulations. • For a complete record of all the amendments, please review all the amendments in the manner as described in paragraph 5 below. • In the event of a conflict between the amendments described in this summary of amendments notification, and the amendments as set out in the various addendums, the latter will prevail to the extent of the conflict. 3. CHANGE 1: INCLUSION OF A BASIC NEEDS BENEFIT POLICY A. Introduction • As you are aware, the Trust procures and/or provides the following Basic Benefits to Members, subject to the Membership terms and conditions as described in your Membership Terms and Conditions Booklet: - Access to the Pukwana ya Kganya Contract for the provision of - o insurance cover and funeral (burial) benefits in terms of a funeral policy (“ Funeral Policy ”); and o insurance cover and i) dread disease benefits; and ii) personal accident benefits in terms of a dread disease and personal accident policy (“ Dread Disease and Personal Accident Policy ”); - Payment of the monthly premiums due in terms of the Pukwana ya Kganya Contract; and - Basic Ancillary Benefits (being Roadside Assistance Benefits, Leeto la Moria (Discounted Transport) Benefits and Funerary Management Benefits). • The Pukwana ya Kganya Contract is therefor an insurance contract, which is underwritten by Sanlam, currently comprising a Funeral Policy and a Dread Disease and Personal Accident Policy. • The Trust has resolved to expand the Basic Benefits, by including an exciting new Basic Needs Benefit Policy , as a new third policy forming part of the Pukwana ya Kganya Contract.
