27 B. Changes to the Master Regulations (Annexe A in your Membership Terms and Conditions Booklet) 1. With effect from 1 April 2023, new MPP Forms and new AMPP Forms will be utilised by the Trust for records of Members and their dependants and beneficiaries. 2. Copies of the new MPP Forms and AMPP Forms will be made available at your local church branch. 3. You do not have to complete a new MPP Form if you are an existing Member. 4. Clause 15.2 of the Master Regulations are further amended to include that amendments may be made to the Membership Terms and Conditions Booklet and the Payment Receipt Booklet, in the same way that the Master Regulations may be amended. C. Changes to the Basic Regulations (Annexe B in your Membership Terms and Conditions Booklet) 1. The Basic Regulations is amended, with effect from 1 April 2023, as follows: 1.1 To include a reference to the Basic Needs Benefit Policy as part of the Pukwana ya Kganya Contract. 1.2 To expand the Basic Benefits to include “insurance cover and basic needs benefits in terms of a Basic Needs Benefit Policy” in clause 6.2.1.1. 1.3 To delete the requirement that a father cannot include a Dependent Child on his Membership Terms and Conditions Booklet, unless the natural mother is deceased (amongst others). With effect from 1 April 2023, fathers can also include Dependent Children on his Membership, subject to certain limitations in the Funeral Policy as set out in clause 7 of Part C under paragraph 3. D. Changes to the Payment Receipt Booklet 1. It is made clear in clause 4 of the Payment Receipt Book, dealing with acceptance of the offer for insurance cover and benefits in terms of the Pukwana ya Kganya Contract, that completion of the MPP Form or payment of a Membership Contribution, will be deemed acceptance of the offer for insurance made to you in terms of the new Basic Benefits Policy. This means, should you continue to pay your Membership Contribution, that it is deemed that you accepted the offer for the conclusion of the new Basic Needs benefit Policy. 2.
