44 9. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION & SHARING OF INSURANCE INFORMATION 9.1. KIA and SDM will process and protect Your personal information as required by relevant laws and the constitution of the RSA. This may include health and financial information. The complete privacy policies of SDM and KIA are available on www.sanlam.co.za / https://mykganya. com and at a branch nearest to You. 9.2. We collect, process, collate, store, analyse and disclose personal information for the following purposes: 9.2.1. to conclude and administer the Contract, which may include underwriting; 9.2.2. collection of premiums; 9.2.3. assessing and processing claims and to do mandatory checks; 9.2.4. to comply with all legal and regulatory requirements, including applicable codes of conduct in our industry; 9.2.5. to protect SDM and KIA’s interests; 9.2.6. prevent loss, or fraud; 9.2.7. offer additional financial products or services as requested by the Kganya Benefits Fund Trust from time to time; 9.2.8. share with other business units and companies which are part of the SDM or KIA’s group for the sole purposes of administering the Pukwana ya Kganya Contract; and 9.2.9. for any other purposes related to the above. 9.3. You have the right to request a copy of Your personal information as processed by SDM and KIA, ask for an update and/or correction of Your personal information and object to Your information being used for any marketing campaign. 10. WAIVER OF RIGHTS The General Code of Conduct stipulates that no financial services provider may request or induce in any manner a client to waive any right or benefit conferred on the client by or in terms of any provisions of the said code, or recognise, accept or act on any such waiver by a client. Any such waiver is null and void.
