33 Annexe B.4 Funerary Management Benefits 1. Subject to the terms and conditions of the Basic Benefits Regulations, the Trust may from time to time procure the Funerary Management Benefits from the Service Provider for all Members in Good Standing on the death of a Qualifying Person, on the terms and conditions set out in this Annexe B.4 . 2. Where: 2.1. the Qualifying Person died and the mortal remains are within the Territory; and 2.2. a Claim submitted by a Services Receiver in respect of the death of a Qualifying Person is approved by the Trust, the Service Provider shall: 2.2.1. repatriate the mortal remains to a funeral home closest to the place of burial, which funeral home shall be chosen by the Service Receiver on condition that the distance between the location of the mortal remains and the nominated funeral home is in excess of 100km. Repatriation applies to both national repatriation and repatriation to and from the following African countries, namely South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Swaziland, Lesotho, Mozambique and such other African countries below the 22nd degree parallel; 2.2.2. assist the Service Receiver in: 2.2.2.1. arranging the funeral, 2.2.2.2. obtaining a death certificate, 2.2.2.3. storage of the mortal remains, and, if requested by the Service Receiver: 2.2.2.3.1. arranging an autopsy and/or referral to a pathologist; and 2.2.2.3.2. obtaining legal assistance relating to the Qualifying Person’s will or estate. 3. The Trust shall procure and/or maintain access to an afterhours call facility manned between the hours of 16:30 and 08:00 of the following day, as well as weekends and public holidays, to ensure a 24-hour helpline facility for Service Receivers. This call facility will only receive calls relating to Funerary Management Services.
