Electronic Payments Terms & Conditions

2.8 Links contained in these Terms to other documents should be deemed part of these Terms in terms of section 11(3) of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (“ECT Act”). Although links may, from time to time, be non-operational, this shall not affect the validity and interpretation of these Terms. 2.9 Any words or phrases not defined in these Terms but defined in the ECT Act will bear the same meaning given to them in the ECT Act. 2.10 A copy of the ECT Act can be viewed and downloaded at https://www.gov.za/sites/default/files/gcis_ document/201409/a25-02.pdf It is your responsibility to ensure that the copy downloaded is the most recent version of the ECT Act. 2.11 Clause headings are for convenience and not to be used in interpreting these terms and conditions. 3. ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS In order to use the ZCM Application, you need to register for Electronic Payments. The registration is done once per product. Once registered for Electronic Payments, you can use the ZCM Application. If it is the first time using the ZCM Application, you will be required to create a pin to use in future to log into the application. 4. INFORMATION PROVIDED ON THE APPLICATION 4.1 Subject to clause 9, the User has free access to this Application. 4.2 The Application provides information and a policy premium facility to all Users who are policyholders of: 4.2.1 Sedi La Kganya 4.2.2 Kganya Koloi 4.2.3 Kganya Koloi Plus (as of 1 April 2024) 4.3 The Application is intended to provide Users with the access to paying his/her Kganya policy premium. 4.4 Some information provided on this Application is intended by KIA as a summary of your applicable KIA services. For comprehensive information on these, please consult your policy terms and conditions. 4.5 While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of information made available on this Application, KIA, their affiliates and/or partners and directors, officers and employees of KIA, their affiliates and/or partners, provide no representation or warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness or correctness of any information made available through the Application. 4.6 If there is a conflict between the information contained on the Application and the provisions of your policy, such policy will prevail and will be binding on the User and KIA. 5. TERMS OF USE ZetNet Mobile provides the ZCM Mobile Platform to facilitate transactions between you, the policyholder, and KIA for the payment of your Kganya policy premium on the ZCM Mobile Platform. ZetNet Mobile is neither the buyer nor the seller of the services unless otherwise specified. 5.2 All transactions are therefore solely between you and KIA. ZetNet Mobile is not a party to that transaction. 5.3 You always remain a customer of KIA, under no circumstances will ZetNet Mobile contact KIA on your behalf, including but not limited, obtaining information related to your account or details or request amendment of any details. 5.4 These Platform Terms and Conditions do not in any way overrule, eliminate, or adjust the terms and conditions entered into between you KIA. 5.5 If you as the policyholder have multiple policies, it is your responsibility to ensure that you register for each one of the policies. 5.6 Registration is a once-off process and not needed before every payment. 5.7 It is your responsibility to ensure a payment is made during the month on either the electronic platform or at the church for each of your policies. No back payments can be done on either of the platforms. 5.8 KIA will not send you any payment reminders or confirmation of payments. You can validate your payments in the ZCM application transaction history. 5.9 As policyholder it is your responsibility to record the transaction number in your Kganya book as reference for your payment. 5.10 It is your responsibility to ensure that the payment was successful and is reflecting under your transaction history on the application.
