2 WELCOME TO PUKWANA YA KGANYA A MESSAGE FROM HIS GRACE THE RIGHT REVEREND BISHOP DR B E LEKGANYANE Dear Church member who has elected to become a proud member of the Kganya Benefits Fund Trust, I have come to the realisation that much has been achieved from very humble beginnings. The provision of burial benefits to members of the Church commenced over 30 years ago in 1990. In view of the significant demand for these benefits, the provision of tailor-made, insurance-related products was subsequently formalised by way of the establishment of the Kganya Benefits Fund Trust in 2000. The Kganya Benefits Fund Trust celebrated its 21 st anniversary in 2021 and Zion Christian Church has celebrated over 100 years of existence. This is indeed a remarkable era for these two entities. As a Zion Christian Church member, you have elected to become a member of the Kganya Benefits Fund Trust, which provides you with access to benefits, services and community upliftment projects. As an active trustee of Kganya Benefits Fund Trust, I remain keenly interested in its activities to service the needs of the members of the Zion Christian Church. Under my direction, the Kganya Benefits Fund Trust will continue to provide members of the Church with access to benefits, services and community upliftment projects that are of value to them. These benefits, services and projects must at all times reflect the unity that we feel as members of the Church. They must also always be dignified and must serve a real purpose in ensuring the prosperity of our members. It is important to remember that the Kganya Benefits Fund Trust has been developed by the Church leadership for the benefit of members of the Church. It is therefore of the Church, for the Church and will always be in the service of the Church. The Kganya Benefits Fund Trust must be commended for the manner in which it continues to be of service to you, the individual Church member and loyal follower of Zion Christian Church. I insist that the Kganya Benefits Fund Trust continues to execute its mandate for the benefit of the congregation. I also urge you, as a Zion Christian Church member, to freely make use of the many real benefits, services and projects that the Kganya Benefits Fund Trust has to offer you as one of its members. These make a positive difference in the life of each member and as the Leader of the Church I remain comfortable that the Church and its leadership is doing everything in its power to ensure that members of the Church do not suffer unnecessarily. Let us work together to spread the message of Christ. Kgotso a e ebe le lena His Grace the Right Reverend Bishop Dr B E Lekganyane
